Beard Chevrolet/Subaru was founded by Earle Beard on December 1 of 1941 in Barre, Massachusetts. Transcending the hardships of the war, Earle began to build the foundation of the Dealership. His son Richard Beard continued the growth of the dealership by adding the Chevrolet Franchise in July of 1957. Richard moved the dealership to Hyannis in November of 1978

Gary Beard, Richard's son, became the dealer principle in March of 1988 taking over the reins of his father.

His first major change was the addition of the Subaru Franchise in June of 1989. Under Gary's leadership, both showrooms have been recently remodeled for your service and comfort.

Under his leadership, the main priority of the dealership is to develop long and committed customer relationships that satisfy every detail of your transportation needs.
